Eden led UberVu’s seed round in 2010 and was instrumental in helping the business to internationalise and build an experienced management team based in the US.

UberVu provided a leading social media management service that allows brands and agencies to not only measure their footprint in social media but to engage in the conversations directly from a single platform.

In 2013, the UberVu platform processed more than 20 million 'mentions' a day across more than 25 social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, blogs and forums. The company’s technology analysed the sentiment, reach, geo-location and influence of comments and provides actionable analytics to its users. Its workflow management and tagging engine allowed users to engage in the conversation whether it was a sales lead, a customer support issue or for more general brand and community management.

UberVu sold its products to over 200 customers including agencies such as WPP and Edelman and brands such as Thomas Cook, Alcatel-Lucent, NBC, SC Johnson, Fujitsu and Audi.

Established in Bucharest, Romania in 2010, UberVu was headquartered in Waltham, MA and London but retained a development team in Bucharest.

Eden led UberVu’s seed round in 2010 and was the company’s largest shareholder when acquired by Hootsuite in early 2014. Hootsuite was attracted by UberVu’s ‘best-in-class’ analytics technology and the opportunity to integrate this with its engagement platform. Eden remains a shareholder in Hootsuite.
